Today, a recipe for delicious and extremely quick bread rolls without rising. You can make them with just a few ingredients that you probably have at home. Your family will thank you.

Ingredients:

  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 300 ml of lukewarm water
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 7 g of dry yeast
  • 3/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 egg for brushing
  • poppy or sesame seeds

Execution:

Dissolve honey in water.

Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl and slowly add the water and honey while stirring.

When the ingredients start to come together, start kneading the dough with your hand until all the flour is collected.

Then transfer the dough to the pastry board and knead for another 6 minutes to form a consistent dough.

Form the well-kneaded dough into a roll and divide it into eight parts (if you want the rolls to be larger, you can divide them into fewer parts).

Stretch each part flat and fold its edges inwards to form a bun. See the video. Rolling the dough with the center of your hand on the pastry board will help you form a nice shape. Just as it is shown in the video.

Place the formed rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Use the back of a knife to make cross-shaped indentations in them, brush them with beaten egg or water and sprinkle with your favorite seeds or poppy seeds.

Bake the rolls in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius, using the top-bottom oven function, for about 15-20 minutes.

Cool the baked rolls on a rack.
